foiltex software package provides collection of LaTeX files for making foils and slides, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install foiltex
foiltex is installed in your system.
Make ensure the foiltex package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep foiltex *
You will get with foiltex package name, version, architecture and description in a table
